The Tahoe Region had a chance to experience a rare Aurora event on May 10, 2024
My friends talked me into coming out to photograph it, but then they gave up hope and went home. Shortly after, the show started!
The lights around Crystal Bay grew long on the still water, as the sun set, and the moon approached the horizon. There were planes and satellites, but nothing outdid the aurora!
